This week, the northeastern United States has been hit with an impenetrable wave of smoke and smog. Apparently, that silly little country up north decided it would be cute to have a couple of wildfires, and now I can't stop sneezing! If you're on the New York City side of Twitter, I'm sure you've seen countless photos of the city looking like a sepia-tone disaster movie, and I can affirm that the pictures are not an exaggeration. I know that Californians have seen it all before, but this is all new to me. I've never looked at my weather app and seen the forecast described as "haze" until yesterday.

Even though these climate changes are scary, I don't think they're the end of the world quite yet. If you're also locked inside your apartment out of fear of a minor apocalypse, you can use these memes to keep you company.
